В современных формах для приема внутрь соотношение компонентов составляет 875/125 мг и 1000/62,5 мг. Наличие современных форм позволяет принимать амоксициллин/клавуланат 2 раза в сутки и, соответственно, повышает комплаентность пациентов. Несомненным достоинством амоксициллина/клавуланата является доступность в парентеральной и пероральной лекарственной формах и как следствие возможность использования препарата в рамках ступенчатой терапии. Широкий спектр антимикробной активности, привлекательная фармакокинетика и приемлемый профиль безопасности позволили амоксициллину/клавуланату стать одним из наиболее популярных антибактериальных препаратов, применяемых в терапии большого числа инфекционных заболеваний. Одними из основных показаний для назначения антибиотика являются инфекции дыхательных путей (ИДП).
