Известно, что до 40 лет распространенность АГ преобладает среди мужчин, в то время как в старших возрастных группах отмечается существенное увеличение заболеваемости АГ среди женщин [6–8]. Так, в возрасте 40–49 лет распространенность АГ у женщин составляет 34,7%, что в 2 раза превышает показатели у молодых женщин, а в 50–59 лет – 57%, что значительно выше, чем в аналогичной мужской популяции. Подобная зависимость заболеваемости от возраста и пола пациентов определяет так называемый возрастно-половой диморфизм АГ, который во многом обусловлен динамикой уровня женских половых гормонов в перименопаузальном периоде. Формирование дефицита эндогенных эстрогенов, прогестерона в сочетании с относительной гиперандрогенией определяет не только сердечно-сосудистый, но и гормональный континуум женского здоровья.</p></abstract></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Thom T, Haase N, Rosamond W et al.
