Целью лечения пациентов с доброкачественной гиперплазией предстательной железы (ДГП) является уменьшение выраженности симптомов нижних мочевых путей (СНМП) и улучшение качества жизни, а также предотвращение развития осложнений, связанных с увеличением предстательной железы и обструкцией: таких как острая задержка мочеиспускания, рецидивирующая инфекция мочевыводящих путей, дилатация верхних отделов мочевого тракта и почечная недостаточность. Выраженность СНМП может варьировать в широких пределах – от бессимптомного течения до значимых расстройств, существенно снижающих качество жизни пациента. Согласно современным представлениям все симптомы могут быть разделены на 3 группы – симптомы фазы «накопления», фазы «опорожнения» и «постмиктурические» симптомы [1]. Позвольте подробно не останавливаться на их описании – они хорошо известны. В результате анализа полученных в ходе обследования данных может быть выбрана тактика динамического наблюдения, медикаментозная терапия или определены показания к хирургическому или малоинвазивному лечению.
