In this review the results of clinical and experimental studies that prove the necessity of nutritional deficiency correction of macro - and micronutrients through the use of vitamin-mineral complexes containing osteotrophic minerals (magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, boron) for the prevention and treatment of osteopenia and osteoporosis are presented and discussed.</p>
