The role of serotonin in the development of vasoconstriction causing decrease of cerebral blood circulation was identified. Dusopharm affect treating light and moderate disorders was studied. The assessment data of clinical effectiveness and safety of Dusopharm use at patients with vascular cognitive disorders in out patient clinical practice were demonstrated.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье рассмотрены патогенетические причины и клинические особенности сосудистых когнитивных нарушений. Отмечена роль серотонина в развитии вазоконстрикции сосудов головного мозга с последующим снижением церебрального кровотока. Рассмотрена роль препарата Дузофарм в лечении легких и умеренных когнитивных расстройств.
