Potentially serious complications of PCVP include pulmonary embolism with "bone cement" fragments that enter the paravertebral venous system and then via v. azygos and inferior vena cava reach the pulmonary arteria. The article provides a description of 2 cases of pulmonary embolism in patients undergoing PCVP due to vertebral hemangioma with severe pain.percutaneous vertebroplastypulmonary embolismчрескожная вертебропластикаэмболия легочной артерии[Galibert P, Deramond H, Rosat P, Le Gars D.
