Abstract

The article presents the definition, classification and pathogenetic mechanisms of cognitive impairment in patients with arterial hypertension (AH). Discusses the literature on the relationship of hypertension with risk of dementia. The possibilities of antihypertensive therapy in the prevention of dementia. Discussed in detail the results of the study Syst-Eur (Systolic Hypertension in Europe), in which the calcium antagonist (CA) nitrendipine ± enalapril reduced the risk of developing dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, new cases, 50%. Neuroprotective action mechanisms are considered as a whole and AK nitrendipine in particular.

Efficacy and safety in clinical practice fosinopril

Abstract

Diseases of the cardiovascular system, including the leading place is occupied arterial hypertension (AH), making the most significant contribution to the statistics of fatal and disabling complications in the industrialized world, including in Russia. For the treatment of hypertension, according to domestic and European recommendations, 5 main groups of drugs, are applied including a significant role for blockers of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. Among the angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors deserved place on clinical effectiveness, organo properties and safety profile belongs fosinopril - lipophilic drug with a dual route of elimination. These properties fosinopril have sufficient evidentiary basis, and despite the large variety of drugs in this group, fosinopril has its own niche in the treatment of hypertensive patients, including those with concomitant chronic kidney disease, chronic heart failure, and has future prospects.

Abstract

This review describes current approaches to the treatment of patients who have had an episode of acute ischemic heart disease. Summarizes studies of oral direct inhibitors of hemostasis in this pathology. The only drug of this group rivaroxaban, despite a slight increase in the frequency of bleeding, has demonstrated efficacy in reducing total mortality in thesepatients. Particular attention is given today interventional procedures, which may also serve as a source of additional problems, especially stent thrombosis. Rivaroxaban has proved effective in reducing the frequency of this complication.
